職務の主な目的 
輸送・据付エンジニアは、SSEパシフィコのエンジニアリング本部にて、エンジニアリングマネージャー直下で固定式および浮体式洋上風力発電プロジェクトの輸送・据え付けに係るエンジニアリングサポートを提供します。これには、初期段階のプロジェクト開発、詳細設計、建設が含まれます。SSEパシフィコが規定するすべてのプロセスや手順を遵守しながら、顧客、パートナー、利害関係者の要件を満足し、高品質な基準の成果物を提供します。また、文書管理、品質保証、安全衛生などの社内プロセスを厳守することが求められます。これらを通して、大規模洋上風力発電プロジェクトにおいて、社内ガバナンスと保証プロセスの下で必要とされる輸送・据付(T&I)設計を実施し、建設中の輸送・据付活動をサポートします。
この職務では、複数のプロジェクト・パッケージにまたがる多分野のプロジェクト・エンジニアリング・チームの中で能動的かつ機能的に動き、プロジェクトの目標とリターンに見合う成果をもたらすことが求められます。
 
主な責任
           プロジェクトにおける基礎構造設計者や輸送・据付(T&I)請負業者とのインターフェイスの管理
           港湾施設の評価・査定を含む、基礎、ケーブル、WTGの積出し計画の評価
           杭打ち、サクションケーソン、投錨、係留システム、ケーブル敷設、艤装設計、揚重計画など、専門業者や設計者と共に洋上作業の計画実施
           据付船、アンカーハンドリングタグ、大型輸送船を含む、海上ロジスティク評価
           浮体式洋上風力発電プロジェクト(浮体輸送、WTG統合、アンカー・係留設置、動的ケーブル接続、現地設置)を含む、船舶の輸送・据付評価(杭、ジャケット、ケーブル、WTG設置)
           社内ガバナンスの枠組みの下で、輸送据付エンジニアリングをサポート
           主要な輸送据付リスクを特定し、これらのリスクの軽減策を検討
           輸送据付設計に関する問題解決サポートおよびトラブルシューティング
           請負業者の提案の技術的評価と査定
           最適化されたコスト競争力のある設計のため、輸送据付エンジニアの観点から評価し、その評価を設計に反映させる
           悪天候や製造遅れなどを考慮し、洋上作業計画を立案
           建設期間中、現場および海上でのサポートを提供
           浮体式洋上風力コンセプトの技術的評価に輸送据付に関する意見を提供
           イノベーションと技術開発プロジェクトに輸送据付に関する意見を提供
求められるもの
           工学分野の学位または同等の資格
           エネルギー開発会社、事業会社、請負業者、船舶運航会社、または関連分野において、エンジニアリングマネージャーまたは技術管理職として、できれば再生可能エネルギー事業に携わった経験を有する
           洋上風力、海洋工学、輸送・据付、洋上建設の経験を有する
           洋上風力発電プロジェクトに関連する発電または送電の開発、設計/エンジニアリング、建設フェーズのサポート経験
           プロジェクトの立ち上げ段階から携わり、システム化/標準化プロセスを開発する能力
           プレッシャーのかかる状況下でも設計をリードし、合理的な判断を下し、結果にコミットする能力。
           強いコミットメントとリーダーシップスキル、企画・組織力を有する
           合意された期限内に質の高い成果物を提供する高い業務遂行能力
           エンジニアリング活動や意思決定の商務的背景や意味を理解できる

 Title: Transportation and Installation Engineer (T&I Engineer)
Report to: Head of Engineering (As function), Engineering Manager (Project)
 
Main purpose of role:  
Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working within the SSE Pacifico’s Engineering business, you will provide specialist support across a range of offshore wind projects for both fixed-bottom and floating. This includes early-stage project development, detailed design and construction activities. You will deliver work to a high-quality standard, achieving customer, partner or stakeholder requirements, whilst adhering to all processes and procedures. You will be expected to produce deliverables that can be audited by internal members or external experts. As such you will be expected to strictly adhere to internal processes such as document management, quality assurance and health and safety. You will deliver the Transport and Installation (T&I) design development activities required under the internal governance and assurance processes on large scale offshore wind projects and coordinate T&I marine activities during construction.
The role will require working effectively in a multi-discipline project engineering team across several project packages, supporting the demonstration of T&I engineering assurance to the Design Authority that the project technology choice and design solution will deliver against stated project objectives and returns.
 
Key Accountabilities:
           Support the marine interface with substructure designer and Transport & Installation (T&I) contractors on projects
           Development and assessment of substructures, topsides, cables & WTGs loadout design, including the assessment and evaluation of port and harbor facilities
           Design development of offshore installation activities – piling, suction caissons, anchoring, mooring system, cable laying, rigging design, lifting tools working collaboratively with specialist contractors and designers
           Production of sea keeping assessments for marine logistics and transportation – including Component delivery, Installation Vessels, Anchor Handling Tag Supply Vessel,  and Heavy Transport Vessels
           Production of vessel initial operability assessments (pile, jacket, cable, WTG installation) including floating offshore wind projects (Floater transportation, WTG integration, Anchor and Mooring installation, Dynamic cable connection and on-site installation).
           Support the delivery of (T&I) engineering requirements under the internal governance and assurance framework
           Highlight key T&I project risks and support the mitigation of these risks
           Support resolution of T&I design issues within the project,
           Support the technical assessment and evaluation of contractor proposals
           T&I engineer input to engineering value assessments to ensure optimised and cost competitive design
           Support offshore installation campaign planning, considering weather forecast, fabricator delays etc.
           Provide site and offshore support during construction
           Provide Naval Architect T&I input to technical assessment of floating wind concepts
           Provide Naval Architect T&I input to innovations and technology development projects
What do I need?
           Degree qualification or equivalent in engineering discipline
           Significant experience within an energy developer, utility, contractor, vessel operator or a related field performing the role of engineering manager or technical management roles, preferably in renewables business.
           Naval Architect with offshore wind, marine engineering, Transport and Installation or Offshore Construction experience
           Experience in supporting development, Design/Engineering & construction phases of power generation or transmission aspects relating to offshore wind projects.
           Ability to work at the start up stage of a project, develop systems / standards and processes.
           Ability to take initiative and make rational decisions, even when under pressure, and be result oriented.
           Strong commitment and proven leadership skills, accomplished planning and organization skills.
           High organization capabilities to deliver quality work to the agreed timescales.
           Capable of understanding the commercial context and implications of engineering activities and decisions.
           Ability to communicate across all levels and multiple nationalities and cultures.
           Excellent communication, diplomatic, networking and influencing skills both inside and outside of the project team.
           Business level of both Japanese and English language skills.
