Role Description:
The Legal Administrator is a role within SumUp’s global Legal team, providing crucial support to users of our contract management and e-billing platforms, which are essential for cost savings and good governance. This role also offers organizational support to the Legal team and other professionals worldwide.
A key focus of the Legal Administrator is to manage SumUp’s contract lifecycle management (CLM) software, as well as outside counsel engagement and legal billing processes for SumUp globally. The role also manages legal Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), legal spending reports, and supports all global legal subteams.
What You'll Do:
- Manage contract lifecycle management (CLM) and billing systems to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop informational and training materials for the Legal team to enhance understanding and efficiency.
- Manage document retention and collection for subpoenas, government agency requests, and litigation processes.
- Organize Legal team events to foster team building and collaboration.
- Oversee general administrative tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Lead and support various ad hoc projects within the Legal team, adapting to the evolving needs of the department.
Your Profile:
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage and understand all administrative tasks and processes within the Legal team.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proven experience in office administration or a similar role.
- Familiarity with documentation management and best practices.
- Experience with CLM systems or similar platforms is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with various stakeholders to coordinate inputs as needed.
