Electronic Service Technician Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $22/hr
- Worksite: Electronics Testing and Measurement Company (Roseville, CA 95747 - Onsite)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 24 Month Assignment
Electronic Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Test, calibrate, assemble, and disassemble electronic instrument products to maintain functionality and accuracy.
- Internal and external customer satisfaction through effective communication, innovation, and direct application of technical skills.
- Work within the designated area of expertise to clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions while supporting field staff and customers.
- Solve technical problems of limited scope and complexity.
- Escalate more difficult repairs to experienced technicians.
- Work with clearly defined objectives on customer service assignments that may be repetitive in nature.
- Perform adjustments, calibrations, and basic repairs.
- Adhere to the highest standards of business ethics.
- Provide consistent, solid contributions to team and service center delivery goals.
- Exercise good discretion in the use of time and other resources. Maximize the use of existing assets, and multi-tasks effectively, and ensure that our resources are used properly (i.e. connector care, ESD, ETE).
- Maintain high workmanship standards and deliver on commitments. Promote ESD, service note compliance, and other programs that are conducive to the delivery of high-quality service and minimization of re-repair.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers. May initiate customer interaction as appropriate.
- Escalate issues through appropriate channels when necessary. This is done verbally or via written correspondence.
- Adhere to established production processes and is responsible for achieving established team production goals.
Electronic Service Technician Qualifications:
- 3+ years of related experience in the calibration and repair of electronic test equipment.
- Some education, specialized training/certification, or military experience.
- Experience using automated calibration software platforms (STE, PC Based, METCAL, TME, etc) is a plus.
- PMEL experience is strongly desired.
- Calibration and repair knowledge of a wide variety of the company's equipment.
- Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Electronic and mechanical competence.
- Exhibit the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of people.
Electronic Service Technician Shift:
- Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.
