Description

We are looking for Customer Service Advisor to provide a point of contact for customers, undertake administrative tasks within the office and provide a low level of technical support. The best Customer Service Advisor are genuinely excited to help customers. They’re patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. They love to talk to our Customers.

Customer Service Advisors put themselves in their customers’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. Problem-solving comes naturally to customer service specialists. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don’t have enough information to resolve customer complaints. Our aim is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Airband specialises in delivering innovative, cost effective super-fast broadband solutions to rural communities across England and Wales, turning some of the hardest to reach parts of the country into some of the best connected. Having won contracts in Devon, Shropshire, Oxford and Wales we are expanding our team and are looking to recruit motivated people to help within our Customer Service Team.

The role is suited to someone who is confident on the phone, can use initiative to answer a variety of queries and enjoys technology. Full training of systems will be given so previous knowledge is not required, but the ability to learn is a necessity.

The main tasks will include:

  • Responding to customers via email or phone and responding to their queries.
  • Working on engineer reports to find solutions for installs.
  • Liaising with engineers, office staff and customers to organise installations, surveys and service calls.
  • Checking availability of service from new orders.
  • Completing customer processes to log information.
  • Helping with administration in other departments when required.
  • Contribute to achievement of Airband sales targets by promoting our product.
  • Always providing a pleasant customer manner.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 6 months contact centre experience (or equivalent).
  • Willingness to learn ‘on the job’.
  • Ability to think on the spot and problem solve.
  • Great people skills who can put themselves in the customer’s shoes.
