About the team

Roku is constantly innovating and finding new ways to provide new value for our customers and Roku's Retail team is responsible for driving the growth of Roku's retail products and programs. 


About the role

The National Sales Manager will serve as the contact for Roku devices for large national retailers.  This role will be responsible for achieving annual and quarterly revenue goals with the assigned retailers.  In addition, this position will be involved in the planning and execution of category roadmaps to achieve pricing, promotion and product placement objectives.

For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $245,500 and $322,000 annually.

Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.
This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.


What you’ll be doing

  • Assess opportunities for retail growth and expansion in TV, streaming media players, audio, smart home, and related markets
  • Responsible for new item sell-in and throughout product life cycle (item setup, in-store placement, sell-thru, forecasting, in-stock, pricing, EOL)
  • Ensures promotional alignment internally and with customers
  • Understand Roku’s business and market dynamics to identify areas of differentiation and competitive advantage
  • Tracks target progress and conducts periodic reviews with customer
  • Customizes sell-out presentations and other materials to the needs of assigned customers


We’re excited if you have 

  • 8+ years sales experience selling consumer electronics into retail.
  • Have at least 5+ years of experience selling electronics to National Retailers
  • A deep understanding of the consumer electronics business, especially the TV sector.
  • Can think strategically, but can dig in to answer questions and get the details in order to ensure strategy can be realized 
  • Enjoy working cross-functionally, but can also work independently
  • Take a long-term view when evaluating opportunities and setting priorities
  • BS or equivalent, MS/MBA preferred
