Information Security ArchitectFTEOnsite roleLocation :Manhattan, NY Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing security measures to protect our computer systems, networks, and data. This includes conducting threat modeling, risk assessments, and researching new technologies to effectively protect our network. You will also be responsible for developing plans to safeguard confidential data and for communicating with users about data access needs, security violations and exceptions.
Candidate:5 -10 years industry experience required. To succeed in this role, you should have a deep interest in securing modern computing platforms, a desire to continuously learn new technologies, strong conceptual thinking and communication skills, and the ability to work well under minimal supervision. Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
In this role, you will also be responsible for reviewing violations of cyber security processes and procedures and have a strong understanding of firewalls, proxies, Security Information and Event Management (SIEMs), antivirus, and Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS) concepts, as well as the ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
Qualifications:To qualify for this position, you should have a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, and at least 5 years of experience in design and development of security architecture across security domains, software design, networking, or cloud infrastructure. Experience securing a public cloud environment (preferably AWS), building software utilizing a public cloud, and working with threat modeling and software security architecture is preferred. In addition, you should have experience with application security, penetration testing and vulnerability management, offensive and/or defensive security techniques.
Required Certifications:Completed Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect and/or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are REQUIRED. •
