East is a 100-seat restaurant, designed by an award-winning international interior designer. East has distinguished itself in the Auckland dining scene with a ground-breaking, vegetarian modern Asian menu.

We are seeking talented Food and Beverage attendants to join our team. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and have experience in leading restaurants or customer-facing roles.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts are available, weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa

• Provide a warm engaging welcome to all guests
• Work as a team to ensure exceptional service and dining experiences
• Preparation of the restaurant for service
• Seating guests, taking orders and delivering exceptional service at all times
• Taking external and internal phone inquiries and delivery of room service
• Settling guest accounts
• Ensuring a positive resolution and follow up with any guest complaints

Requirements

• Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with good attention to detail
• Flexibility to work varied hours across week days, weekends and public holidays
• Exceptional grooming and hygiene standards
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests make the most of their day

• Have a desire to learn and grow your hospitality careerExperience in restaurant & bar service or customer facing role would be advantageous but not essential.
• Candidates must already have the legal right to work in New Zealand to be considered for the role.
