<p>Due to growth a well-established corporate service provider covering a plethora of industries urgently needs a <strong>Tax Officer</strong> to join their team. As a <strong>Tax Officer</strong>, you will be reporting to the Reporting to the Manager of the Tax Department you will be entrusted with a select portfolio of clients where you will be expected to manage, build and mentor junior team members. </p><p><strong>Salary up to €28k depending on experience.</strong><strong></strong></p><p><strong>Role and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Assist in preparing corporate tax documentation for a diverse client portfolio</li><li>Support senior team members in compiling tax returns for individual clients</li><li>Help gather and analyze client data for assessments related to international tax regulations, including Transfer Pricing</li><li>Manage administrative duties linked to tax filings, ensuring timely submission of required documents</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date internal reports used for tracking client information</li><li>Organize and store relevant documents efficiently</li><li>Contribute to internal procedures within the tax department</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements, Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>A university degree in Accountancy or currently pursuing a recognized qualification (such as ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent certification)</li><li>Familiarity with the Maltese tax system and a strong willingness to expand knowledge in the field</li><li>At least two years of experience in tax or accounting roles</li><li>Excellent command of both English and Maltese at a professional or native level</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word) and familiarity with accounting software such as SAGE</li></ul><ul></ul><p><strong>About this role:</strong><br></p><ul><li>Salary of up to €28k</li><li>Office based (hybrid) with flexible hours</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Free parking</li><li>Study Leave, and more</li></ul><p>Apply with your CV in English.</p><p>*JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU.
