Who are you?

  • You are fluent in communicating.
  • You are very open minded, an excellent reader and a fast learner.
  • You are friendly and willing to help with any task.
  • You must have pride in their work and the quality of their work.
  • You are good at taking down and making detailed notes.
  • Your telecommunication skills must be fabulous/excellent.
  • You pay great attention to detail when it comes to checking policies/quotes and completing forms.

What’s the role?

You will be responsible for:

  • Allocating emails and notes to the correct files/tasks.
  • Completing proposal/application forms.
  • Sending renewal proposal forms to clients.
  • Amending quotes, policies and renewal terms
  • Checking registration, license and tracking documents that come in from clients.
  • Following up with clients and insurance companies (looking for documents and/or outstanding information).
  • Email/call Insurance companies when needed to make amendments to policies and when needing to fix errors on policies.
  • Adding items to Policies (makes, models, serial numbers, and sum insureds).
  • Remove items from policies.
  • Email instructions to correct insurance companies
  • Following up on policies and quotes from insurance companies
  • Scheduling meetings with clients or insurance companies.
  • Answering calls and taking messages from clients

  • Matric
  • Graduate or 1+ years experience
  • Math skills, An understanding of statistics and probabilities
  • Has an interest in underwriting
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
