Gerber Development Pattern maker (soft wovens/gowns)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Discuss design specifications with Soft Woven designers and Interpret sketches received during development, converting their vision to create patterns utilizing the Gerber Accumark software program.
- Create a cutter's must for each garment, pattern spec measurements, and sewing instructions\
- Work with in-house sewers for muslin sewing/draping
- Manage and organize the pattern library.
- Maintain company Block Pattern Library, slopers, and fit model information.
- Candidate will be the sole Manager of all computer pattern making components, including all Gerber Software and Hardware information and anything pertaining to the department
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in digital patternmaking, in luxury brand womenswear.
- Must be proficient in Gerber Accumark Pattern Design, and Microsoft Excel.; CLO 3d experience +
- Must have experience in draping
- Experience in woven categories – dresses, skirts, tops, gowns
- Basic understanding of Technical Design.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Strong Attention to Detail.
