Hair color Chemist needs 2+ years’ experience
Hair color Chemist requires:
- BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field plus 0-4 years of experience (or)
- Prior experience in Hair color/care or Consumer Products formulation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and analytical skills. Quick learner.
- Strong data management (excel etc.)
- Competently understand test methods required to deliver a quality product and conduct laboratory experiments.
Hair color Chemist duties:
- Assist hair color scientists in developing new hair color formulations.
- Problem solve, lab batch, analysis, and testing.
- Prepare lab batches for hair color applications and conduct testing to verify release criteria.
- Conduct stability and efficacy testing including detailing experiments, analysis, and summary of results.
- Maintain documentation of lab results, conclusions, and next steps.
- Contact suppliers and in-house experts to source raw materials or data as needed.
