Frontend Developer

Mintago is looking for a Frontend engineer to join our growing team. We’re building sleek, responsive web applications with cutting-edge technologies and frameworks underpinned by TypeScript and React, as well as scalable and high-performance NodeJS services to support them.

You will join Mintago at the start of its engineering journey. As a crucial member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of technology within our company, working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

This role offers immense scope for learning and development, providing you with the chance to significantly expand your skill set and contribute to the evolution of our technology and ways of working.

In this role, you will build responsive and well tested web applications, working closely with product managers and designers as well as other developers to turn the team's vision into reality. As a team, you will work to maintain high degree of quality across the code base through peer code reviews.

This job reports into our Technology Lead and as a hybrid role we will expect you to come into the office twice a week to have face to face time with your team.

Skills we’d like you to have:

• Experience as a JavaScript engineer with a strong understanding of React
• Experience working with TypeScript
• Experience writing unit tests as a key part of software delivery
• You have used testing libraries such as Jest or React Testing Library or something similar
• A drive to collaborate with the team and share your opinions to push our technology forwards

Extra points if you have used:

• TailwindCSS
• Experience with NextJS
• You have used React Testing Library to test production web applications
• Experience building reusable components for a component library
