Summary: Do you write, share, and post to social media on the daily? Do you have a passion for serving others by building online communities and connections? We're looking for a Social Media Coordinator to own Kris Vallotton’s social media accounts by connecting with the needs of revivalists around the world, engaging authentically, and helping connect them to helpful resources. You should be a passionate storyteller with a command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and serve a digital audience and online community. This person will be a team player that is willing to contribute to team effort by accomplishing assigned tasks as requested.
Responsibilities:
Manage Social Media
- Build and manage Kris Vallotton’s social media profiles and presence, including Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
- Creation and curation of micro-content such as captions, photography, social graphics, visual development, animated GIFs, and videos
- Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks in order to spread testimonies, inspiring truths, and relevant information.
- Place Paid Advertisement on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram (Meta).
Marketing & Growth
- Work alongside the KVM Marketing Manager to help distribute content that educates and inspires our audience and supports marketing goals.
- Drive consistent, relevant web traffic from our social network presence.
- Explore new ways to engage. Continuously ideate and innovate within the social space.
Analytics
- Track performance of social media campaigns, content, and overall health of the assigned social handles
- Present to leadership regularly on social plans and results
- Send analytics report to Kris and team on a monthly basis
Engage with Community
- Engage on social media platforms
- Respond to private messages received on social platforms in a friendly, timely and supportive way
- Engage with comments on a daily basis
Copywriting
- Social Posts
- Podcast notes & descriptions
- Misc writing projects
Requirements
- Believes and adheres to the beliefs and vision of Bethel Church
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in copywriting
- Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.
- Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
- Proficiency in using social media software (e.g. Coschedule Social Inbox) to schedule and monitor social media conversations.
- Bonus experience and skills include Adobe Creative Suite, inbound marketing, and blogging.
- Planning and project management skills - set goals, make a plan to achieve them and manage the process to reach said goals.
- Customer service — we’re looking for a people-person who enjoys engaging with people on social platforms.
- Proficient in the art of being succinct with the ability to convey their message in a short space, with no grammatical errors that also encourages people to engage with the content we share
