CapitalPad connects operators with investors, facilitating acquisitions and business growth. We focus on SBA-eligible businesses in the $1-5 million range across various industries, both online and offline. Our goal is to identify promising deals and present them to our community of business operators.

About the role:


The Deal Flow Analyst will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and recommending acquisition opportunities. This role involves monitoring business listings, building relationships with brokers, and conducting preliminary assessments of potential deals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acquisitions, deal analysis, and the ability to quickly and competently evaluate business opportunities.

This is a Remote Full-Time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and review business listings to identify promising acquisition opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers and other deal sources.
  • Sign up for and opt-in to receive detailed business information.
  • Review and analyze financial and operational data of potential acquisition targets.
  • Conduct preliminary calls with brokers and sellers to gather additional information.
  • Compile and present a weekly list of potential acquisition targets based on your analysis.
  • Collaborate with the CapitalPad team to refine deal criteria and evaluation processes.
  • Stay updated on market trends and acquisition best practices.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in deal analysis, acquisitions, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and business valuation techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with brokers and sellers.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable with remote work and using digital tools for collaboration.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to identifying and evaluating deals.
