As an IT OTC Business Systems Analyst you will be the liaison between the Order to Collect team, business stakeholders and IT. You must have the ability to translate business needs into Functional specifications, design and develop solutions, test and deploy them into production. You have a passion for working cross functionally and building solutions to support business processes and data flows and strength in solving platform issues with expert troubleshooting skills.This role will work closely with multiple departments and other business partners, as well as Executives in OTC, Security, IT and HR.
What you will be doing
- Independently contribute to following areas -
- Customer Contracts, Billing and Collections
- Customer Invoices, Settlements
- OTC Period close activities
- Different scenarios under Billing Operations, I.e. New Billing plans etc.
- NPI
- Partner cross functionally with other business application owners to ensure our business automation and data management processes are smooth and well connected
- Serve as a subject matter expert and champion in driving the industry best practices for evolution of the company’s OTC Business users
- Provide input into the IT Roadmap, including the Workday new feature rollout, implementation of new modules, and major releases
- Lead discussions and investigations regarding Workday features and functionality, contribute to recommendations for process improvements and keep application users informed about system functionality, enhancements and other operational asks.
- Responsible for designing and implementing enterprise IT projects in the Workday ecosystem. Duties include:
- Gathering requirements from business users;
- Demonstrate superior OTC (Quoting process, Revenue, Billing and Collections, NPI) working knowledge.
- Working with cross functional teams to develop design and solutions documents;
- Serve as a primary liaison between the business stakeholders and IT;
- Managing communications;
- Manage change process for all new changes on the platform
- develop functional specifications and system design specifications;
- Organize various scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, sprint review, retrospectives, etc.) using agile methodology;
- Assist with development of test scripts and coordinate test efforts for post-sprint testing, UAT, regression testing, etc.
- lead quality assurance by defining testing strategies and identify risks;
- ensure issues are identified, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner;
- assist in creating training materials and documentation for OTC users including release notes
What we need to see
- A Bachelor’s degree (preferably with an emphasis Information Systems, Computer Science), or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10+ years of direct experience working on IT OTC Implementations or Operations as a Business Systems Analyst (Quoting, Revenue, Billing and Collections, NPI)
- Workday systems knowledge is preferred, In absence of workday system knowledge, candidates with outstanding OTC knowledge in Oracle Apps, Peoplesoft, SAP will be considered.
- Experience of Integrating custom or 3rd party applications with Workday/Other ERPs
- Highly developed written and verbal communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented & should know how to adapt to changing requirements.

- Expert leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to participate in any cross-functional team and build relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally with users ranging from executive to line level
