<p><strong>Coffee Shop Manager - Shelter Hall 🏯<br>Up to £30,000 OTE<br>Hourly paid + Service Charge<br></strong></p><p><strong></strong><strong>We are currently looking for an Manager for our Coffee unit within Shelter Hall</strong><strong>! 🍸</strong><br></p><p>Shelter Hall is owned by Sessions – the record label for food. We find the most exciting talent in food, produce delicious hits (menus) and take them on tour to neighbourhoods across the country through our food halls, franchise sites and licensing models. </p><p>This role is based within our flagship landmark Food Hall on Brighton’s seafront! Shelter Hall is made up of 7 kitchens and 2 permanent bars split across 2 floors including private cocktail room (Skylark), with private dining and unbeatable outside space along with seasonal pop up bars. <br>Shelter Hall combines a fantastic choice of cuisines and beverages for our guests, to be either ordered through the Shelter Hall app and delivered to their table by our floor team, or at the counter/bar. </p><p>One of the Shelter Hall units is mainly used for coffee, pastries and cakes. We're looking for a Manager to come on board and give the unit a full makeover and revamp the offering with your creative flare! We require require someone to be proactive in ideas to drive sales from this unit, t and introduce new products. Let your personality shine. </li> <li>Employee socials and awards nights!</li> </ul><p><strong>What will you do?</strong></p><ul> <li>Work with the senior management team to drive sales in the Coffee Unit</li><li>Revamp  the menu and bring your creative flare</li><li>Manage a seasonal workforce which doubles in the warmer months</li> <li>Show the team how it’s done – this is a hands on role where you will also be working the bar/floor</li> <li>Form strong relationships with the different vendors who operate out of the venues as well as the internal floor and back of house teams</li><li>Opening and closing the venue</li><li>Work under/with a strong management team with strong communication</li><li>Labour control - ensuring there is enough staff to cover busy shifts and labour is kept to a minimum on quiet days</li><li>Keep close eye on maintenance and report any concerns/issues</li><li>Keep close eye on cleanness of the venue</li><li>Have knowledge and passion about food &amp; drink</li><li>Strong work ethic/willing to help out wherever needed<br></li><li>Keep the team happy, performing and motivated</li><li>Step in to solve any guest issues when most senior on shift</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul> <li>Management experience in a similar environment. </li><li>Creative and business savvy</li><li>Strong people manager</li> <li>Friendly, positive attitude</li> <li>Confident speaking to new people</li> <li>Expert level of English language</li> <li>Right to work in the UK</li> </ul><p><strong>Join a company looking to change the face of the hospitality industry for the better. Sessions are an equal opportunity employer.</strong></p><p><em>The first 2 stages of our Recruitment Process are "Blind" and no details other than work history and education will be shown to the recruiters or hiring team.
