As Associate General Manager, you will be an extension of the General Manager working with a nimble technical team and across the Sword organization. This multifaceted position demands experience in product development, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams and get complex work done.
What you'll be doing:
- Partner with the GM to develop and implement critical initiatives, streamline operations and oversee team execution.
- Product and engineering collaboration: Support Head of Data and Head of Product to align their strategies and help their teams work effectively to deliver results.
- Strategic planning: Collaborate with the GM to define the goals and strategic initiatives to be launched by the business.
- Extension of the GM: Represent the GM and Predict team in workstreams with other teams.
- Project management: Serve as a program manager on high-impact projects, from concept to strategy and execution, working with a vast array of stakeholders on both the strategic vision and project execution.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational and structural weaknesses and help improve existing or develop new processes to keep our local and regional teams as efficient as possible. Cycle learnings back to leadership for continuous improvement.
What you need to have:
- 6+ years of start-up or scale-up experience in operations, strategy or product.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
- Ability to support product and software development - experience working with technical teams, producing product artifacts, and how to work in modern product organizations.
- Clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesize information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and disseminate meaningful insights.
- Get things “done done” through top-notch project management skills and balance attention to detail with seeing the big picture.
- Influence others without authority - able to build relationships and convene others who do not directly report to this person.
- Grittiness, creativity, flexibility, and ability to operate with unknowns to get things done.
