Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician

You’ll work closely with a team of skilled engineers in a hands-on role focused on the manufacturing, testing, and production of high-tech propulsion hardware. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for electro-mechanical systems and the drive to bring advanced equipment to life.

Our expertise includes green monopropellant thrusters, solar electric propulsion, and high-powered electric propulsion, supporting both near-Earth and deep-space missions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test electric space propulsion components and related test equipment
  • Set up and configure testing facilities, including power supplies and flow cabinets
  • Design, fabricate, and implement setups for electro-mechanical assembly and testing
  • Perform maintenance and ongoing improvements on electro-mechanical systems
  • Assemble, test, and maintain circuitry and electronic components
  • Bonus: Basic understanding of PLCs and Ladder Logic for interpreting and troubleshooting existing systems

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with electronics testing, including both low and high-voltage systems
  • Proficiency in mechanical assembly of precision technical systems
  • Familiarity with machine shop basics such as milling, sawing, and drilling
  • Understanding of fluid flow and control best practices
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Bonus: Basic knowledge of PLCs and Ladder Logic
  • Associate’s Degree in Engineering or Science Technology and 2+ years of relevant industry experience

Additional Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required (ITAR compliance)
  • Employment contingent upon background checks
