Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for a Game Logic Developer to join the World of Tanks' competitive game mode team. Mainly You will work with Python codebase and will be responsible for developing, supporting, and influencing a brand new Onslaught game mode.

What will you do?

Create new gameplay mechanics and core features for the game.
Implement meta-game features, such as leaderboards, social interactions, and event progressions.
Collaborate with UI/UX engineers to develop the user interface.
Produce and maintain technical documentation.

What are we looking for?

At least 3 years of experience in commercial development.
Excellent knowledge of Python.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Experience with modern game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity, Godot).
Participation in the development of high-load client-server applications.
Knowledge of server technologies, network protocols, and databases.
Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

Experience with C++.
Previous experience in the development of competitive game modes.
Experience with UI Middleware frameworks, such as Coherent Gameface or Autodesk Scaleform.
Gaming experience in World of Tanks with Tier X vehicles.
