Field Nation’s accounting team is growing to continue offering the most efficient and streamlined support to both internal and external shareholders. This role needs to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial transactions by conducting regular reconciliations of bank accounts.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for all company accounts.
- Investigate discrepancies/open items and resolve issues in a timely manner, including following up on un-cleared items and reporting any suspicious banking activity
- Record and document necessary adjustments.
- Provide detailed analyses of bank transactions and reconciliations.
- Monitor and track all incoming and outgoing cash transactions.
- Reconcile card transactions, wire transfers, and ACH payments.
- Ensure that all bank charges, interest, and credits are accurately recorded in the general ledger.
- Collaborate with other accounting team members and departments to ensure all financial data is accurate.
- Liaise with banks or colleagues for account-related queries and inquiries.
- Manage to review all cash application, provider and vendor payment transactions into relevant ERP system/NetSuite appropriately and efficiently
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and answering inquiries
- Assisting the finance department and senior accounting staff members with various tasks
- Identifying areas for process improvements and implement best practices in bank reconciliation
- Ability to understand when to escalate issues to high-level
- Analysis and reporting of financial data with different types of business Intelligence tools such as MS Excel
What You’ll Need:
- Strong Communication skills and fluent in English language
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong problem-solving skills, planning and organizing capability
- Attention to detail, accuracy and profound at analytical level
- Methodical approach to accomplish tasks
- Team working, coordination and ability to work under pressure
- Basic understanding of US GAAP and IFRS
Education and Experience:
- Ability to understand basic accounting principles
- Experience with bank reconciliation processes in [specific industry if applicable].
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business
- ACCA/CMA/CA partly qualified will get a preference
- Ability to understand different kinds of software used for accounting e.g. NetSuite, FN platform, Salesforce, Avalara
- 2-3 years of working experience
- Ability to work Central Standard working hours.
Working Hours:
- 8:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Monday to Friday)
Salary Range:
- BDT 70,000 - 95,000 (Monthly)
