Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Project Manager in Brand Operations, you will be focused on bridging brand-to-guest retail experiences by project managing branded executions in DTC and B2B retail spaces from creative to execution. Your strong understanding of the retail landscape enables you to excite the consumer and connect them to our brand and product through premium retail experiences. Your knowledge of Retail executions will empower you to remove roadblocks for those working on projects you manage to allow for an efficient end-to-end process.

This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work.  Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. 

Please note this role is temporary for a duration of twelve (12) months.  

Meet Your Future Team:
You will work as part of the Brand Operations team – a collaborative group of Project Managers, Producers and Operators responsible for defining and evolving process and leading creative teams to the successful delivery of campaigns and projects. You will work in close partnership with all levels of the Retail and Brand Management teams.  

If you were the Project Manager, Brand Operations - Retail now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Steering multiple projects from the creative phase to execution
  • Working with the Creative, Retail Brand Experience and Retail Community teams to ensure an efficient end-to-end process and timely delivery of branded content in new store opening and renovation projects
  • Engaging with teams collecting feedback from store teams and retail partners to inform future programming and process improvements
  • Managing and executing requests from retail partners across the business, including Store Managers, Retail Community, and Key Account Partners
  • Supporting oversight of the Creative Services team day-to-day priorities and align them with the Brand and Digital PMO
  • Building and maintaining solid relationships with key stakeholders across the organization both globally and regionally with a key focus on building an in-depth understanding of the retail environment
  • Engaging relevant stakeholders of all levels at the right time to ensure full project awareness and enrolment along with successful execution
  • Providing critical insight to briefs and steering multiple retail projects from kick-off to on-time execution, including scope of work, project plans, budget, resource allocation (internal and external), reviews, on-going status updates, quality assurance, and debriefing
  • Championing and evolving processes, tools, and workflows between the Brand Operations and Retail teams and with other key stakeholders, as necessary
  • Working with external vendors to coordinate and deliver products and printed materials to HQ and stores
  • Processing and tracking invoices for Retail Brand against budget

  • Collaborating with the Creative Director and Senior Manager of Brand Project Operations to develop the skills and build the team necessary to realize the future vision of Arc'teryx retail stores
  • Collaborating with teams designing new content delivery and ordering systems to support our vertical future as we scale up our physical store presence

Are you our next Project Manager, Brand Operations - Retail?

  •  You have a Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in business, or related field 
  • You have 4+ years of project management experience and have experience using project management software
  • You have 2+ years of experience working in a retail environment or vertical brand
  • You are able to lead, plan and deliver multiple projects at one time and oversee work schedules and calendars across various resources
  • You have strong knowledge of creative project team management and experience working with production vendors
  • You remain highly flexible, thrive in ambiguity and work well under pressure
  • You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You are comfortable working with, or learning new, project management tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Monday.comBox.com)
  • You are passionate about clear communication, workback schedules, and collaboration
  • You think ahead, ask strategic questions and, most importantly, you value relationships and have fun in your work
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
  • You are comfortable managing stakeholders of all levels and facilitating complex decision-making
  • You are responsive and action-oriented while ensuring alignment with our core strategic pillars and brand guidelines
