As a Pavement Analyst you will use our Insights platform to review drone imagery of pavement (asphalt and/or concrete parking lots, driveways, entryways and sidewalks) and provide a thorough and robust analysis of current conditions. Analysis includes the identification of anomalies and other pertinent issues that are presently affecting the pavement. No outside travel or on-site inspections necessary. In doing so, you are dedicated to helping Zeitview meet its operational OKRs.
Responsibilities:
- Call on prior experience to provide analysis of pavement conditions based upon drone-captured imagery
- Make accurate recommendations for repair/replacement per all identified issues using our Insights platform
- Take action on assignments that are ready and available for production in the Operations pipeline
- Utilize proper software tools, channels, and workflows to follow standard procedures
- Tasks include but are not limited to: handling emails/tickets in Zendesk, inspecting and annotating images and preparing short reports in English that are professional and comprehensive
- Ability to work off-hours to get the job done
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience working in or with pavement-type companies and with proven knowledge of asphalt and concrete construction
- Knowledge and prior use of the Pavement Condition Index (“PCI”) is a plus
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
- Able to work remotely and coordinate effectively with a fully remote workforce
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills (Office suite, Slack, Google)
- Must have and use own computer
