The Opportunity
Our Wellington based Audit team are seeking an Audit Manager who will oversee the day-to-day operations of audit engagements. Working with well-established, energetic and multi-cultural groups of people, key to your success will be your ability to lead others and your readiness to make an impact and contribute to the growth of our successful audit teams.
Your typical day will include:
- Work to maintain up-to-date technical knowledge related to regulatory/ statutory requirements and compliance.
- Assist with preparation of business reports and management letters for clients highlighting recommendations related to key issues.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone with:
- 5 years of experience with 2+ years' experience as an Audit Manager
- Strong technical audit and statutory reporting skillset
- Experience working as a Manager in a Big 4 Audit environment
- Ability to develop effective business relationships with clients
- Coaching and mentoring of junior staff; leading & managing audit engagements
- Ability to make effective presentations to senior client management
- International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) expertise
You'll develop skills in:
- Presenting findings and recommending/implementing advice
- Reviewing written advice, reports, memoranda and/or other relevant deliverables
- Analytical thinking and problem solving; making recommendations that shape or support the client’s business strategy
- Understanding of audit and risk advisory issues and stakeholder needs to address complex problems
- Positively influencing clients, teams, and individuals positively by building relationships and communicating effectively.
- Delivering exceptional client service; maximising results while fostering collaboration across businesses and borders.
