Objective of the role:
Ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of business requests by coordinating efforts across the data engineering, data analytics, and data governance teams. Facilitate seamless collaboration within and across teams, ensuring that all members, including those with diverse needs, are supported and can effectively contribute. Develop and maintain detailed work plans with clearly defined deliverables and deadlines, aligned with the strategic goals of the business units. Proactively ignite and track strategic metrics to ensure alignment with organizational OKRs, fostering a data-driven culture that permeates throughout the organization
Main Responsabilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed work plans: Create and manage comprehensive schedules outlining the activities of multidisciplinary data teams, ensuring clear timelines and accountability.
- Monitor progress and follow up: Continuously track the progress of work plans, ensuring that milestones are met and adjustments are made as needed to stay on target.
- Design and implement effective workflows: Establish and refine ways of working (WoW) that promote seamless collaboration and communication between specialized data teams, fostering efficiency and innovation.
- Communicate key updates: Regularly update stakeholders on achievements, risks, impediments, and upcoming steps related to data projects, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization.
- Resolve impediments: Proactively identify and manage obstacles that may hinder the progress of data teams, working to find timely solutions and maintain project momentum.
- Document risks and issues: Keep thorough records of risks, errors, and lessons learned during data project implementations, using this information to inform future projects and mitigate potential challenges.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in data-related roles, including experience in managing data projects, including hands-on experience with data management, data integration, and data analytics.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and build strong relationships across various teams and departments.
- Experience in Building and Leading Interdisciplinary Teams: Proven track record of creating and leading teams composed of diverse expertise, including data scientists, engineers, and analysts, to achieve project goals.
- Proficiency in Data Management and Analytics: In-depth experience with data management practices, data integration techniques, and data analytics projects. Familiarity with data governance and quality frameworks is a plus.
- Intermediate to Advanced English Proficiency: Strong command of English, both written and spoken, to facilitate effective communication in a global and multicultural environment.
- Adaptability to Agile and Dynamic Environments: Comfortable working in agile methodologies and adapting to rapidly changing priorities and project requirements.
- Project Management Expertise: Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects, manage budgets, and deliver results within scope and deadlines. Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) are advantageous.
