Position Overview

As a member of the Sales Leadership team, this individual will lead the Clinical Specialist team to disrupt the dialysis market by launching new dialysis programs powered by Tablo while also growing and developing existing customer’s successful utilization of Tablo.  The Clinical Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing the clinical field sales team within his/her region.  The Manager, Clinical Sales must be able to lead and inspire, drive change, take control, and enough tenacity to ensure clinical and sales objectives are met on a consistent basis. You are expected to be able to teach your teams to provide an extraordinary degree of strategic discovery, executive engagement, project urgency, and solution selling at all levels of healthcare organizations.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for hiring, training, and developing a team of Clinical Sales Representatives
  • Work with the Market Director to create quarterly plans and strategy to meet and exceed Outset Medical goals.
  • Through managing a team of Clinical Specialists, provide excellent customer experience and expand the utilization of Tablo in all existing accounts.
  • Through targeted sales activities create opportunities for new system installations
  • Lead new customer installs and program launch
  • Work closely with training, marketing, and sales leadership to ensure proper allocation of training support and to develop a strategy to drive utilization of Tablo systems
  • Measure training and clinical effectiveness and implement enhancements as necessary.
  • Drive regional clinical, sales, and marketing development events that create Tablo awareness and adoption. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MedTech sales experience
  • Ability to excel in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, sales, interpersonal skills and persuasive communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to travel up to 75%

  • Five+ years of Management experience
