Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/x)

Skeleton's Software Engineering team is looking for a driven

Software Engineer

with the vision to match our ambition.

Your tasks in the net zero journey:

• Embedded C programming together with unit testing.
• Maintenance of already existing code.
• Unified code platform development.
• Specification creation according to clients’ needs and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Creating documentation for our products and solutions.
• Designing software according to standards and best-known practices.
• Carry out testing of our products, if needed, together with external organizations.
• Assuring software quality through ad hoc testing, unit tests, in cooperation with software test engineers.

Requirements

We don’t expect to master it all. At Skeleton, you’ll have the support of the team and we work together to achieve our goals. However, there are requirements you should be able to fulfill to succeed in this role:

• 3+ years of experience with embedded C coding.
• Experience with python.
• Education in software development or electronics development.
• Experience with writing customer facing technical documentation.
• Self-organizing, eager to improve on their technical and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented.
• High level of self-management of planning, organizing and prioritizing tasks.
• Proficient level of English, both verbal and written.

Value-adding skills and experiences for the role:

• Experience with RTOS, continuous integration systems.
• Experience with large codebases for multiple projects.
• Worked in ASPICE established company
• Developed functional safety relevant software (any FS standard is fine)
• German language is nice to have, not mandatory.
