Pay Range: $75,314 - $97,908 annual compensation

Transportation Planning Engineer – The position is available with the City of Fort Worth Transportation Public Works Department in the Regional Transportation and Innovation division. The selected candidate will perform project management activities, including assisting with project planning, negotiating and executing design and construction contracts, preparing and reviewing cost estimates, reviewing invoices, coordinating with internal and external project stakeholders, preparing Mayor & Council Communications seeking authorization for project actions requiring approval, conducting site visits during scoping and pre-engineering, evaluating scopes, concepts, and planning schematics for roadway, railroad, and other multi-modal projects. Coordination in local government, TxDOT, and railroad capital projects is critical to the position.
