Job Summary:
The Junior Financial Analyst will support the Sales and Merchandising team in financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliation efforts. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing data analysis, and assisting with the review and approval of financial submissions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and will collaborate with the sales, payroll, and management teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and complete monthly invoicing and reconciliation for all clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Conduct weekly analysis comparing Natural Insights data with ADP (payroll) submissions, identifying discrepancies, and notifying payroll-approving managers of anomalies.
- Regularly review Natural Insights metrics submitted by field colleagues across all clients, ensuring 100% accuracy by identifying, tracking, and reporting any missing, inaccurate, or erroneous data to the appropriate managers for correction.
- Assist in developing and maintaining financial models to support sales and merchandising operations.
- Generate financial reports for management, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Collaborate with team members to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Participate in financial audits and contribute to the preparation of audit reports as required.
- Maintain detailed financial records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Periodically handle complaints or emergencies
- Any other job-related duties and/or projects that maybe assigned.

Hard Skills:
- Minimum of one year’s experience as a junior financial analyst, financial analyst or in a similar role
- Post-Secondary Education preferred
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel, Excel Pivot Tables and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling software).
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP) and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with retail or merchandising operations is a plus.
- You may be required to pass certain assessment tests to be hired for this position.
