Position Summary: The Task Manager (TM) is identified as key personnel and is responsible for all WCGS-Service contractor assignments. The TM will have direct contact with the USSOCOM WCP leadership at the HQ daily and will address any concerns regarding the performance of this contract.

  

Duties and Responsibilities:   

• Ensure all deliverables are submitted to the COR.

• Ensuring all personnel meet the qualifications

• Ensuring all personnel are assigned and embedded in the support locations with the current DoD clearance level specified at day one of the Period of Performance

• Supervise and coordinate the efforts of contract support at all locations.

• Inform the COR and USSOCOM WCP Deputy Director of any vacancies immediately upon learning of the situation and take action to ensure any open position is filled by a fully qualified person in accordance with the PRS. In addition, within 5 working days of vacancy the Contractor shall provide a gap analysis and contingency plan for workload distribution during vacancies.

• Ensure performance measures are meeting program standards and will report any deviation immediately to the Government.

   

Required Skills and Abilities:   

• Possess current TOP SECRET clearance 

• Bachelor's degree (any field) and 10 years of relative experience 

• Experience in an upper-management role, preferably in program management, personnel development, and response to client needs

• Scope of experience includes multi-service exposure, to enable SME-like advice and coaching to broad-based workforce

• Effective written and oral communications skills

  

Physical Demands and Work Environment: 

While performing the duties of this position, the IC is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The IC frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The IC must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
