Our team develops and maintains every software component for capturing radar images in satellites. We collaborate closely to ensure seamless integration and functionality, pushing the boundaries of radar technology. The Flight Software teams are a critical group in the company. They continuously implement new features and develop new subsystems for the new satellites and those already in our fleet. 

As a Senior Flight Software Engineer, you will innovate and implement new features in radar systems using C/C++ and Python, design and execute unit tests and CI workflows and collaborate with software architects to translate requirements into actionable tasks. Your goal is to enhance the Flight Software (FSW) stack, ensuring reliable, efficient, and high-quality software that drives innovation in radar technology.

Requirements

What will you need to be successful in this role?

  • Innovate and Implement: Develop robust C/C++ and Python code to introduce new features for radar systems and enhance our Flight Software (FSW) stack. Experience with CMake is preferred.
  • Ensure Quality: Design and execute comprehensive unit tests and Continuous Integration (CI) workflows to ensure the codebase's reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate and Translate: Work closely with the software architect and engineering team to transform architectural requirements into practical, executable tasks.
  • Code Excellence: Conduct thorough code reviews, upholding coding standards and best practices, and ensuring high-quality, efficient software development.
  • Integrate and Optimize: Facilitate the seamless integration of sub-system software into our applications, ensuring flawless functionality and compatibility across the board.
