Position Summary:

We are seeking a high motivated Senior Research Associate or Associate Scientist to execute target validation experiments using in vitro model systems aimed to validate targets identified through our platforms. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of senior members of the team and assist in designing and implementing research protocols.
  • Perform laboratory experiments and apply various laboratory techniques including flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, Western blotting, and primary cell isolation and culture.
  • Conduct in vitro and ex vivo assays, such as but not limit to overexpression, knockdown, knockout on primary cells, stimulation, and cytokine profile or functional assays.
  • Collect, analyze and interpret scientific data accurately.
  • Maintain precise experimental records and documentation.
  • Contribute to the preparation of research articles, reports and presentations.
  • Follow lab safety procedures and rules to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and future plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Immunology or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of laboratory research experience.
  • Familiarity with immunological assays such as ELISA, Flow Cytometry, and primary cell culture techniques.
  • Previous experience with CRISPR and RNAseq is a plus.
  • Previous experience with lentiviral transductions or AAV transfection/transduction is a plus.
  • Good data organization, management, and analysis skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring robust and consistent experimental results.
  • Prior experience in an industrial setting, and familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) as well as proficiency in the use of Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN).
