Our mission is to help manufactures maintain a competitive advantage in the world economy by improving productivity.</p><h4><strong>Summary of Responsibility:</strong></h4><p>Morris Midwest WI & IL, a top distributor of CNC equipment, is searching for a motivated and successful Capital Sales Engineer to become part of our team. You will be responsible for driving sales of Okuma CNC machinery, Tsugami Swiss Machinery and Select Products (Large Part/High Volume Equipment) and providing top-notch service to customers across the region. This role demands a detailed comprehension of CNC machining processes, a strong technical competence, and a dedication to developing innovative manufacturing solutions.</p><h4><strong>What You Will Contribute:</strong></h4><ul><li>Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for selling equipment in your assigned territory. This will involve Cold Calling and utilizing an SDR to help penetrate new accounts.</li><li>Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their unique manufacturing challenges and offering tailored solutions.</li><li>Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of Morris and the Equipment.</li><li>Work closely with customers to understand their specific needs, provide technical expertise, and recommend appropriate machinery configurations.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams including service, applications engineering, and customer support to ensure flawless project execution.</li><li>Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to better position Morris products. </li><li>Attend trade shows, seminars, and customer events to promote Okuma CNC solutions and network with industry professionals. Along with attending Industry Association Events.</li><li>Integrating sales and individual activity into CRM system (Salesforce).</li><li>Maintaining involvement on turnkey projects, demonstrations and other customer related projects to meet timelines and budget.</li></ul><h4><strong>Qualifications & Competencies:</strong></h4><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.</li><li>3+ years of validated experience in capital equipment sales, preferably in CNC machinery or industrial automation or manufacturing.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of CNC machines, with specific experience in high end and high value equipment a plus.</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.</li><li>Upbeat, dedicated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Frequent travel throughout a regional sales territory is vital.
