Iterative Health is pioneering the use of artificial intelligence-based precision medicine in gastroenterology, with the aim of helping to optimize clinical trials investigating the treatment of IBD. We use advanced machine learning and computer vision to interpret endoscopic videos along with other types of data, helping clinicians better assess patients with potential GI problems. Ultimately, the company aims to establish more meaningful endpoints to serve as better predictors of both therapeutic response and disease outcomes.
We’re looking for a driven, impactful and humble Legal Operations Associate to join our small but nimble team and help IH use its technology to benefit patients and create a higher worldwide standard of GI care. Through your passion, integrity and daily dedication, you will have a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families, on your team, and on the company as a whole.
What you’ll be doing:
- Contribute on a daily basis to the broader legal team as it drives the negotiation and execution of revenue generating contracts and other agreements that enable the company to grow and succeed
- Support the team, as needed, on multiple time-sensitive projects, big and small
- Drive excellence and efficiency by refining and improving legal, compliance and other processes in close partnership with cross-functional teams across the organization
- Develop a deep understanding of our products, tech and data flows, to be in a position to help the legal team be a trusted and practical advisor to the broader team
- Research and build knowledge of relevant federal, state and local laws, regulations and ordinances, including HIPAA and state licensing, to help ensure regulatory compliance
- Exercise sound judgment and communicate effectively and persuasively across the organization
- Build deep knowledge of and become a go-to resource for questions regarding our contract lifecycle management software and training software, among other key environments

- You have a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of role-relevant post-graduate work experience in a fast-paced startup or law firm environment; this is a non-attorney role but we encourage college grads who have an interest in attending law school to apply
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: legal operations, commercial operations, data privacy compliance or operations (including HIPAA, state privacy law, and/or /GDPR), clinical research compliance or operations (including FDA or relevant industry codes/practices), or and streamlining and optimizing a team’s processes
Preferred skills:
- Experience in one of the following industry areas: life sciences, clinical research, and medical devices
- Passion for technology and its power to improve people’s lives
- Interest in the importance of improving health care outcomes
The expected annual base salary range for this position is $70,000-$115,000. The applicable annual base salary paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors, including the nature and extent of prior experience and educational background.
