Job Title: Safety Mgmt Coordinator
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 12 Months+

Company Background:
Our client, a major employer in the area, is looking for a Safety Mgmt Coordinator to be part of its team in its North American operations.

Detailed Description of Responsibilities:

Work with contractors to implement construction safety mgmt system & other safety requirements on client construction sites.
Provide safety leadership for new construction including mechanical & electrical equipment installation
Conduct formal safety audit of activities related to construction and mechanical & electrical equipment installation.
Review contractor JSA's to confirm completeness & accuracy of work being performed.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:

5-10 years of experience
Safety engineering degree is not required but considered a plus.
Minimum OSHA 30
Experience working on construction projects with multiple subtrades.
Experience with various parts of construction: site/civil work, structural steel, electrical & mechanical.
Experience reviewing and verifying JSA's developed by contractors.
Proficient in Microsoft: PowerPoint & Excel.
