This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing, Group Marketing function, within a global investment bank. The team is responsible for brand strategy and activation across the US, Europe and increasingly Asia. The role-holder will support the Washington-based VP Marketing & Communications and will be responsible for their own projects within the team, as well as operating as part of a solutions-focused function.
Core responsibilities
- Support the Group Marketing function to deliver US brand activation, reporting to the VP, Marketing (US).
Initiatives include:
- Assist in creating compelling thought leadership content (quarterly publications; thematic articles; sector newsletters, podcasts, etc)
- Contribute to the publication of US-based deal announcements and corporate press releases
- Take an active role in maintaining US-based website / platform information
- Support the VP US Marketing in account managing franchise teams, including meetings, notes, and actions
- Collaborate on the execution of key US-based events, including:
- Event logistics and planning
- Guest list management, pre, during and post event logistics
- Monitor, measure, and evaluate activity
- Maintain US events calendar
- Support in delivering the region’s new press strategy; including setting up interviews
- Assist with reports for the business and processes like maintaining trackers, calendars, and spreadsheets
Requirements
- Degree educated
- Experience within Marketing, either in a corporate setting or working with B2B clients in a marketing agency
- Driven, enthusiastic and positive
- Interest in financial services and ability to understand technical subjects
- Desire to work in an integrated, supportive team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Time management skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
- Results and delivery focused
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to operate under own initiative
Previous experience with the following is not essential but would be an advantage:
- Umbraco CMS
- Spotler e-mail marketing
- Experience with social media channels
- Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
